Got a replacement stainless spoke guard off a well known internet auction site & gave it a spin on the polishing mop. Makes the old aluminium one look a bit shabby ! Attachments:

I didn't check if he did. A stainless one went for pennies the other week. Needless 2 say I missed that 1.
It's fitted on the bike now ;0)
Possibly on a jaunt round London this Sunday. Hope its sunny.

Hi, Could someone do me a favour ? If you have an original crank, could you have a count up of the teeth on it for me please ? The crank on mine is not original & this makes the gearing a bit too high for me. Many thanks, Dan.

well, not sure how much help it will be but mine is 40 on the crank, 18 on the rear. but its an early 3 speed, and going by all the observations on here they probably fitted 92 different combinations
