The early mk 1 had the reflector bracket welded to the seat post
I was talking to someone who pointed this out to me , I have a picture to add

here a mk1 24" i owned a few years ago- unfortunately sold now- in true survivor condition bought from a bootsale for £20! being 6ft4 does not lend the 24" bomber to being an easy bike to ride! yep, even had the rich kid mudguards the transfers were starting to show their age, but that was the only thing wrong with it had this dealer sticker on it, meaning it had been a local bike i assume from new here it is next to a crazy chop me and a friend built- i removed the mudguards and added a pair of kenda tyres in an effort to preserve the snakebellies as i was putting a lot of mileage on it. it also had the obligatory eveready light on the lamp bracket and then i went and sold it...
